Myles is the third generation of Laings to be involved in his family business and has a total 16 years’ experience within the construction industry.

Business Development Manager Director
Grant has been involved in Laing family businesses for more than 43 years with a background in civil earthworks, house relocation and transportable housing.
Mike McCormick
New Homes Sales Consultant
Mike is part of our sales team and has over 25 years’ experience in property management, real estate, and property investment. He enjoys coordinating custom solutions for his clients.
David Firman

David is part of our sales team, he has over 8 years experience in new home sales. David is passionate about helping people build their new homes and to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible

Operations Manager
From a farming background, Tim has carved out his career in large government corporations for over 8 years managing project delivery. He joined Laing in 2017 and is passionate about getting the best outcomes for clients and finding the right solution to fit nearly any situation.
Ashlee Puckett
Operations Administration
Ashlee is Laing’s Operations Administrator supporting the Relocation & Second hand building part of the business.
Ashlee has previously spent 5+ years working in the Ag sector and is no stranger to the construction business with lots of builders in her family.
She is excited to assist you with your contract shifts and relocatable projects.
Ashly Cant
Construction Manager
Ash has been part of the Laing team since 2015. With over 15 years in the construction industry, he’s completed a variety of builds including motels, apartments, retirement units and architectural homes.
Jenny Henricksen
Business Manager
Jenny joined the Laing team in 2012 after spending most of her career working in retail management. Jenny is responsible for managing the administration team.
Tina Tian
Quantity Surveyor
Tina has recently joined our team as Quantity Surveyor. Her role involves creating great relationships with our suppliers. She is always looking at innovative ways to make our clients dream build ideas fit with in their budget.
Jane van Olphen
Accounts Administrator
Jane joined Laing in 2019 coming from a career in the Tertiary Sector and Insurance Industry. Her core role is processing creditor and debtor invoices and has quickly become the go-to admin support person for Managers.
Grace Reid
Sales & Marketing Support
Grace has a natural flair for building and colour design having been immersed in the building industry from a young age. She’s enthusiastic and always goes the extra mile for clients and co-workers alike. Grace joined Laing in 2020 and provides sales and Marketing to support.

Receptionist
Michelle has recently joined our team as a Receptionist and Accounts Administrator.
Michelle is the smiling face when you enter the office, greeting our clients and assisting visitors.

As a proud third generation family owned and operated business, Laing has enjoyed a wonderful past and looks forward to an even more exciting future.
Laing has developed a very successful business buying/selling a variety of relocatable buildings located throughout the South Island.
In the late 80’s we successfully tendered to purchase and relocate surplus Army Barracks from Burnham Miltary Camp and fast forward over 30 years to 2020 and we’ve built over 300 new transportable homes, carried out over 4,000 building shifts. 2019 saw us undertake the largest single removal project involving 208 building relocations from the University of Canterbury.
